We are looking for a hands-on, QA engineer with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and excellent technical writing and review skills. The ideal person can work closely with the onsite San Francisco team and partner closely with QA engineers in our European office. This role will be remote up until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with product and development teams on feature specs to proactively recognize and prevent issues from developing
  • Create and maintain test scenarios and feature files in BDD format based on User Stories/AC
  • Perform release acceptance, regression and functional testing across web and mobile platforms
  • Assist in the identification and design of automated processes to increase testing efficiency and reliability
  • Prioritize the most impactful and time-consuming manual tests and convert them into automated tests using step definitions in the Cucumber framework
  • Consistently execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results in a timely manner
  • Review other team members test runs as well as offshore testing execution results 
  • Provide quality oversight of various medical devices used by Myia’s patient population
  • Must have:
  • 4+ years testing experience in a dynamic Agile based testing environment 
  • Familiarity with various advanced testing methodologies 
  • Deep knowledge of BDD/Gherkin syntax
  • Experience with test automation (Cucumber, Selenium, Appium)
  • Stellar in Web, Mobile (Android&iOS), and connected devices testing
  • Comfortable working with Git in CLI
  • Experience in Jira, TestRail, TM4J or similar bug tracker and test management systems
  • Ownership mentality and process-driven
  • A self-starter, fast learner, attentive to details, and multi-task
  • Ability to work onsite in our San Francisco office after the quarantine
